Descriptif:

The child stands holding a puppet doll; a puppet horse lies on a cushion at its feet. With full-length robe, and hair dressed in two top knots. The figure is hollow, with roughly-filled base. Light buff stoneware with a cream slip and glaze overpainted in yellow, red and green enamels, the patterns of the robe and other details being executed in black.

Commentaire:

Le terme Cizhou est adopté pour désigner une grande variété de grès à décors divers. Les fours, répandus sur un vaste territoire, fournissent principalement la population en pièces utilitaires pour la vie quotidienne.
