Northern celadon stoneware 中國北方青瓷, Yaozhou kilns 耀州窯, north of Xi’an 西安, Shaanxi Province 陝西省, Song 宋代 (960-1279) and Jin dynasties 金代 (1115-1234).
The Yaozhou kilns were the heirs to the earlier Yue 越 celadon tradition in the south, manufacturing pieces of an olive green colour, with incised, combed or moulded decoration, which are also reminiscent of Ding ware 定.
