The display in this case changes regularly in order to exhibit in rotation pieces made of various different stones. Under the Qing 清代 (1644-1911), snuff bottles became a favourite object with which craftsmen could put their inventiveness to the test by devising fresh forms of decoration in a variety of different materials.
