Description:
Of ovoid form with short straight neck and convex, unglazed base; the cover almost flat-topped, with knob handle. Painted in rich violet blue with round the sides two five-clawed dragons striding among clouds above rocks and waves, between 'shou 壽' (longevity) characters; with border of ruyi heads round the foot, and lotus scroll band encircling the shoulder. The main design is repeated on the sides and top of the cover.
