The monk Nichiren standing in a boat on a wild sea, trying to calm the storm when making his trip to Sado Island, being banished. His prayer, the invocation of the name of the Lotus Sutra, Namu Myôhô Rengekyô 南無妙法蓮華経, in black script on the waves.
